Disconnect QuickBooks

The CIA owner can remove the saved QuickBooks connection through the authenticated money dashboard. This public page provides instructions and does not report your company’s connection status.

Remove the connection in CIA

  1. Sign in as the CIA owner and open Money flow.
  2. Expand Manage QuickBooks connection.
  3. Enter a reason and select Disconnect QuickBooks from CIA.

If sign-in opens the daily briefing, select Money flow. Team members with financial viewing access cannot disconnect the company.

What disconnecting does

Disconnecting in CIA removes its saved authorization credentials and current QuickBooks report cache and stops CIA’s access through that connection. It does not erase records in QuickBooks, manual CIA financial records, or required audit history.

To revoke authorization with Intuit as well, remove CIA’s access using QuickBooks’ connected-app controls. If you already disconnected in QuickBooks, also use CIA’s disconnect control to clear CIA’s cached reports and saved credentials.
